Thanksgiving

We all have dreams, big ones, small ones, unrealistic and attainable ones. Old dreams and new dreams and shelved dreams. Broken dreams and dreams so deep they remain unformed.

Handpicked duck buttons on a hand knitted baby jersey by my Gran in case she wasn’t around when I had babies remind of the deepest of these.

We all had dreams.

In the thankfulness of all that is good in my life I smile remembering picking out those buttons with my Gran and although there is pain and grief in lost dreams there is thankfulness in the memories.

  2. Aw man. Sad face. Can only imagine. But for some reason the ducks remind me of cows which remind me of pins stuck in trees so there is always that.
